Creepy Creature Design

I was reflecting on my last post, where I drew animals in shapes, and decided to do the same exercise again.
This time instead of drawing one animal for every one shape, I did one creature in many shapes.

Overall, this was a very fun warm up exercise that I think I will continue to use!

Warm Up with Shapes

Good afternoon!
As a warm up I decided to quickly scribble down some shapes and draw an animal that would fit inside.
Needless to say, I think I was in a cat and dog mood...

The sketches were all done in a couple minutes. Nothing serious just loosening up.

I'm really enjoying this looser style I am getting into so I hope to be producing more work in less time very soon.

ColossalCon Zoo Sketches

This past weekend I went to a convention in Sandusky Ohio known as Colossalcon.
I had an amazing time meeting so many new people and seeing some familiar faces!
One of the best things about this convention was that there's a small zoo that is part of the resort. As such, I had the pleasure to wander off for a bit and do a couple sketches.
